American pine is an all-growing tree of eastern North America. Its bark is brown with longitudinal fissures when mature. It is valued as a timber tree, and the wood it produces varies from light white to gold. Our pine typically comes from Mexico and is kiln dried there.
This style of furniture dates back hundreds of years and was first created when the Spaniards came to the Americas. They began crafting their unique furnishings using the abundantly available pine, styling pieces for their homes. By using seasoned pine, our furniture offers classical Colonial designs that enhance any setting and decor. Different carved motives and furnishings are available in order to personalize each piece more.
Following is a gallery of some of our designs. Please keep in mind that these are by no means the only ones we carry, and that varnishes and different color finishings can totally transform any given piece of furniture.
