Bellas Artes de Mexico has more than 20,000 sq. ft. full of furniture, art, doors, sculpture and accessories available to the public. The owners, Felipe and Cristina Guzman, established the store in 1999 in Phoenix, Arizona. In 2005, the Guzmans opened their second store in Scottsdale. The Guzman family is long-established and recognized for their furniture and have been in business for 33 years in Guadalajara, Mexico.

A successful and dynamic entrepreneur, Felipe met Cristina in his father's workshops, where she was a furniture designer. Young and in love, they traveled to India, marveled at the crafts and furniture in that country and noticed how well both styles meshed together. Because of the strong interest in this area in his family's fine furniture in Guadalajara and with their personal vision, they opened Bellas Artes de Mexico. Beyond importing furniture from the family's business in Guadalajara, they made purchasing trips to India to acquire artifacts and furniture to enhance the variety of furnishings and the possibilities for decoration. The business proved to be a success.

Bellas Artes de Mexico has a huge clientele in Scottsdale, Arizona, and sells furniture all over the United States and Europe.
